21 layers of stencils were needed to create this work painted exclusively with mixed acrylic paint spray.
Against the background of a library, the shelves of which are deconstructed, letting out letters that symbolize the escape from culture, the books fly away from the headdress of a young African whose gaze remains turned towards the future.
The imagination takes flight, as our knowledge and culture disappear or perhaps come to colonize other places... everyone can read what they like...
The edges of the work are painted and a clip is attached to the back on the frame, to allow immediate hanging on the wall.
This work is a unique piece. The stencil frames were destroyed after use.
