La Marianne is an inspiring and emblematic figure that I have been representing since 2019.
This was created as part of a triptych (“Blue”, “White”, “Red”).
Work resulting from more than 20 layers of stencils on a background made by hand, with mixed acrylic spray paint.
The character is made up of the letters of the words "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity".
The original manuscript of the Marseillaise by Rouget de Lisle is reproduced in the background.
This work is a unique piece. It is not framed but the edges are painted and a clip is provided on the back allowing immediate hanging on the wall.
