This portrait of Georges Brassens was specially commissioned for the Espace Georges Brassens in Sète, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the museum in 2022 and the major exhibition collective held there for 6 months.
It is the tactilo-visual variation of the painting work of the same name. Technically, it was printed in relief on a "dibond" plate (see explanatory photo). The text is printed in Braille.
The work is intended to be touched and the bottom text may be read by a non sighted person.
This edition was carried out in partnership with the company "Gédéas-adapted company" which works for the inclusion of people with disabilities.
Without pipe or guitar… Just Brassens, almost naked. Simply wearing his mustache. And this look that catches us, as if the notes and the words still resonated...
